
Accra City Hotel celebrates chefs’ passion and excellence on International Chefs Day
Accra City Hotel has paid tribute to its culinary team in celebration of International Chefs Day (marked on October 20, 2025), recognising the creativity, dedication and passion that drive its chefs to deliver exceptional dining experiences.
The hotel described its chefs as the “heart and soul” behind every meal, highlighting their consistency, attention to detail and commitment to maintaining the highest standards of quality and safety.
According to the hotel, its kitchen operations are guided by a robust Food Safety Management System, ISO 22000:2018, ensuring that every meal served is not only delicious but also safe and wholesome. “From sourcing fresh, high-quality ingredients to maintaining strict hygiene and food handling standards, every step is guided by the hotel’s robust Food Safety Management System,” the statement said.
Chef Solomon, who works in the Hot Kitchen, likened his workspace to a creative stage where skill and intensity meet. “The Hot Kitchen is a place of controlled chaos,” he explained. “Pressure transforms into perfection on a plate.” He said transforming energy and precision into art is what makes every dish special for guests.
From the Pastry Section, Chef Pamela added a touch of sweetness to the celebration, describing desserts as “the grand finale to the guest’s meal.” She said each dessert is crafted to leave a lasting impression. “Each dessert is carefully balanced and plated with care, ensuring that every guest leaves with a smile and a lasting memory,” she noted.
The hotel said its chefs cook with “purpose, pride, and passion,” taking great satisfaction in seeing the joy on guests’ faces. Whether through buffet breakfasts, lunches, dinners or à la carte orders, every dish is a reflection of teamwork and expertise.
