PETROSOL welcomes new Chamber of Mines president
Petroleum Solutions Ltd (PETROSOL), an emerging privately owned Ghanaian Oil Marketing Company (OMC), has congratulated Mr Kwame Addo-Kufuor on his assumption of office as the President of the Ghana Chamber of Mines.
In a statement signed by its Chief Executive Officer, Michael Bozumbil, the company indicated its excitement at the appointment, “given your vast experience in the mining industry spanning about 20 years and the immense contribution you have made towards the development of the sector in Ghana and Africa as a whole”.
Mr Addo-Kufuor is Newmont’s Regional Chief Director for Africa Region.
The statement further stated that having personally interacted with Mr Addo-Kufuor at the level of the Private Enterprise Federation (PEF), he was convinced that he had what it took to lead the industry in promoting its growth and development as well as ensuring that it contributed significantly to sustainable national development.
The statement, therefore, assured the president and the entire membership of the Chamber that as an indigenous OMC committed to best practices and efficient delivery of quality petroleum products, PETROSOL would continue to work with members of the chamber in meeting their petroleum products needs by providing tailor-made solutions that would enhance their efficiency and help them in the achievement of their corporate objectives.
Petroleum Solutions Ltd has been in existence since 2006 but began operating as an OMC brand in February 2014.
The company markets quality petroleum products through its over 40 fuel stations countrywide and also mades supplies to bulk consumers such as mining companies, service providers, agro-industries and manufacturing companies.
