Adekunle Gold releases sixth studio album ‘FUJI’
Global Afropop trailblazer Adekunle Gold has released his highly anticipated sixth studio album, FUJI, which is now available worldwide on all digital streaming platforms.
The album arrives with the focus track “Believe,” a pop-Fuji anthem that captures the spirit of desire and devotion at the heart of the record.
FUJI follows a string of acclaimed singles — Obimo, Coco Money, Bobo, and Believe — each accompanied by visually striking releases. According to the artist’s team, “Believe is the most pop-forward record on FUJI — a sleek, melody-driven track that flips a standout sample into an arms-raised chorus designed for global stages.”
The 14-track project represents a sonic and emotional evolution for Adekunle Gold, weaving together Fuji, soul, R&B, Apala, and Afropop. It reflects themes of triumph, grief, and rebirth, exploring both celebratory and introspective moments.
Rooted in the authenticity of Fuji music, the album is described as “a beautiful and ambitious sonic feast” that highlights Adekunle Gold’s connection to his Yoruba heritage and royal lineage, while reimagining the genre for a modern audience.
The complete tracklist for FUJI is as follows:
Big Fish
Don Corleone
Bobo
Coco Money
Believe (focus track)
My Love Is The Same

Beyond his music, Adekunle Gold continues his philanthropic work through the Adekunle Gold Foundation. Its flagship initiative, 5 Star Care, launched earlier this year to provide free health insurance to 1,000 people living with sickle cell disease in Nigeria. The programme is run in partnership with the Lagos State Health Management Agency (LASHMA), Sickle Cell Advocacy and Management Initiative (SAMI), and the Lagos State Ministry of Health.
