Bisa Kdei's gets NAACP nomination with Asew remix
Last year, Highlife musician got the last laugh over his critics when the remix of his song Asew was used in a Netflix holiday movie titled Jingle Jangle, starring the likes of Forest Whitaker.
Before that feat, Bisa Kdei had had to grapple with talk that he was washed out and his career was all but over so when the news about his song being part of Jingle Jangle's soundtrack came out, it was all good news for his fans.
And now, he has even more reason to smile as the Asew remix has received a nomination for the 2021 National Association for the Advancement of Colored People (NAACP) Awards.
