It’s ‘One Touch’ for Ivy
There's no doubt that COVID-19 dealt cruelly with the world in 2020 and while many people anticipated some relief from the deadly virus this year, it appears the world must brace itself for the worst in the coming months.
But as a Christian and a Gospel singer, Victoria Ivy Obeng who prefers to go by Kiverta Ivy believes there’s no better way to motivate a world reeling in despair than to resort to music to bring hope.
That was her motivation for releasing two new singles, One Touch and Let Your Presence Fill The Earth produced by KBJ Studio and Klasik Recordz respectively early this month.

The singer, who started promoting the songs before moving back to the UK where she lives, told Graphic Showbiz that both songs are spirit-filled, calling for God’s intervention and deliverance in these perilous times.
“Sincerely, I was so confident that the world will be free of Covid in 2021 but unfortunately, it is even worse but I know that God is the Saviour of the world and when He comes through for us, we will be saved.
“In very depressing moments like these, it is very good to encourage those who have given up the fight to hold on to the greater power ad through these new songs, I want the world to know that when we build our faith in God and not limit His power, He will heal the world from its sorrows including coronavirus,” she stated.
Kiverta Ivy has been singing since she was aged 13 making her professional debut with the song, A Love So Fine in 2007.
According to her, the music industry has evolved and is granting many opportunities to artistes who previously could not publish their music unless they were signed to a record label.
“People from various cultures can finally bring their works to the masses where the industry shows more diversity. It's a positive milestone the music industry has reached,” she stated.

Despite her strong leanings towards music, Kiverta Ivy also stands tall in fashion design and accounting and owns the fashion business, Ivy Kreations.
“It has always been my passion to assist young women and that was the motivation behind the establishment of Ivy Creations,” she added.
