Datus SHS crowns King, Queen
Master Abdul Rahim Mojtabah and Miss Ifejirika Hetirika have been crowned Prom King and Queen respectively of the Datus Senior High School in Tema.
This was after they had impressed judges with their dancing and dressing at the graduation ceremony for the 2013/2014 final-year SHS students.
In addition to their titles, they were each presented with a cash prize of GH¢200.
Popular Ghanaian actress, Vivian Achor, congratulated the graduating students, and advised them to go into the world with a positive attitude.
She also urged them to build on the “foundation laid by the school.”
Actress Achor advised the students to go in for the best and always stay focused in whatever they did.
The Headmaster of the school, Professor Middletow Owen, encouraged the students to aim at achieving more as they left the school and lift high the name of their alma mater.
Since its establishment in 1962, he said the school had produced great leaders for the country.
