The books are ‘Prison Graduates’, Mawugbe’s play which won the BBC International Radio Playwriting Competition in 2009 and ‘My Father’s Song,’ the late writer’s only novel.

Founded in 1973, Afram Publications has been in the forefront of publishing Ghanaian literature and textbooks for Ghanaian schools. The firm is also widely known as a specialist publishing house in materials for pre-school education and basic education in Ghana.

A source at the publishing house indicated that the company was happy to bring out the two hitherto unpublished works of Efo Mawugbe and that they were co-operating with the  Efo Kodjo Mawugbe Foundation on the possibility of publishing more of  the award-winning writer’s plays.
