Ghana celebrated her 59th Independence Day on Sunday, March 6 and as usual several activities were held to mark the ocassion nationwide.
In Accra, the national parade held at the Independence Day which was graced by the President John Dramani Mahama and wife, President Uhuru Kenyatta of Kenya, former presidents John Agyekum Kufuor and Jerry John Rawlings, government officials, politcal leaders, members of the Diplomatic Corps and the general public.
The day saw the security services, students from various schools among others march to the admiration of all.
That is not all, acotrs, dancers, masqueraders, taekwando performed to entertain patrons taking the celebration to an exciting level.
