Broken-down truck causes traffic mayhem on Accra-Kumasi highway

A broken down truck on the Anyinam stretch of the Accra-Kumasi Highway caused a massive vehicular traffic on Good Friday.
The gridlock stretched more than three kilometres from the outskirts of Osino to Anyinan in the Eastern Region.
Hundreds of revellers and travellers were left stranded.
Frustrated passengers filed out of vehicles.
To avoid the snarl, some motorists took a detour at the Osino through Abompe before joining the Kumasi road.
