Ghana has now recorded 28,430 confirmed cases of COVID-19 after the Ghana Health Service announced 763 new infections on Monday, July 20, 2020.
These new cases were recorded from samples taken between July 7 to July 16, 2020.
Ghana's death toll from the illness also increased by five more persons to 153.
Meanwhile, a total of 24,901 persons has recovered from COVID-19, leaving the country with 3,376 active cases.

Per the GHS data, the country has conducted a total of 349,752 cases, detecting 28,430 (a test positivity rate of 8.13%).
