Feeding for Christ Mission fetes youth in Kasoa
A Christian non-governmental organisation, Feeding for Christ Mission, has held a jamboree for hundreds of young people in Kasoa, at which food, clothing and Bibles were freely distributed and the gospel shared.
The mission operates chiefly by visiting schools and conducting community outreach programmes, particularly on public holidays, in places where the youth are likely to gather such as beaches to share the gospel. The recent event took place on December 26, 2015, at the Odukpong Kpehe Park in Kasoa.

The programme began with a football match among junior high schools in the area and this was followed with other games.
In her address, the Founder of Feeding for Christ Mission, Mrs Efua Sam, urged the youth to endeavour to lead exemplary lives in line with the word of God. She said the love of God for mankind was made manifest in the birth of Christ who came to save the world.
According to her, Christmas, therefore, was a time of assessing our response to God’s love by also showing love to others and giving our lives wholly to worshipping God.
A Resident Pastor of the Charismatic Liberty Chapel, Pastor Ebenezer Boateng, urged the youth to grow up in the fear of God by obeying and abiding by the teachings of the Bible as well as respecting the elderly including their teachers.
For his part, the Music Director at His Light Sanctuary of the International Central Gospel Church (ICGC) in the Beach Drive Estates, close to Tuba Junction in Accra, Mr Kwame Sakyi Oto, advised the youth to stay away from vices including drug abuse, teenage pregnancy and fraud.
He urged them not to rush in life and that if they relied on the word of God, all their hearts’ desires would be met in the course of time.

The event was supported by Alive and Kicking Ghana, an agency engaged in football administration, which supplied 12 footballs for the occasion, and Gideons International which also gave out Bibles for distribution to the youth.
