New manse for Effiduase Methodist

A multi-purpose Manse built by the Effiduase Diocese of the Methodist Church, Ghana, has been dedicated at Effiduase in the Ashanti Region.

The project, which started in 1998 and consists eight bedrooms and auxiliary facilities, was financed by the congregation of the diocese.

Speaking at the dedication ceremony, the  Presiding Bishop of the Methodist Church, Ghana, Most Rev. Prof. Emmanuel K. Asante, called on ministers of the church to offer quality leadership, commitment and selflessness in order to promote the growth of the church.   

The presiding bishop said there was the need to uplift the image of the church through the provision of church buildings in the various communities to enhance evangelism and spiritual development of the members.

He lauded the commitment of the congregation and urged them to institute a special development fund to ensure regular maintenance of the project for the benefit of the church.  

The Diocesan Bishop, Rt Rev. Moses Quayson, commended leaders of the church for their commitment towards  the construction of the manse.
