Some 105 students will be honoured with certificates for successfully completing six-month long courses in Cake Making and Decoration with Sugar Arts; Pastry Arts; Cookery Arts; Balloon, Ribbon and Floral Décor; Brush Up Skills as well as the Wilton Course.

A number of them will also receive special prizes from the institute for exceeding expectations in various disciplines.

Among the graduands to mount the podium for honours will be a number of men, a development that underlines the increasing interest of males in the domain previously considered the preserve of women.

There will be students’ exhibition of cakes and other varieties of pastries and floral arrangements on the occasion which will be celebrated on the theme: Culinary Education, a key to National Development.

Guests will also be treated to “free tasting” of cakes while the Founder, Mrs Efua Otua Obeng Kyei will lead in the inspection of the exhibition and interact with patrons.

To liven up the event will be the exciting and sensational choral group, Elduminas who will take to the stage to ginger the students, their families and friends.
