“Uphold virtues of loyalty and integrity”
The Moderator of the Evangelical Presbyterian Church, Ghana (E.P.C.G), Rt Rev. Dr Seth Agidi, has entreated public office holders and other leaders serving in responsible positions to exhibit a high sense of loyalty and virtue of integrity in the discharge of their duties.

“A good leader should not be influenced by unwarranted monetary gains but must demonstrate a high degree of professional ethical conduct and loyalty to his country and serve as a mentor to his subordinates,” he remarked.
Rt Rev. Dr Agidi was speaking in Ho during the induction service held in honour of Mr Kwame Tawiah Aggor as the newly appointed Headmaster of Mawuli Senior High School.
Fifty-six-year-old Mr Aggor succeeded Mr J.K Osei Nyansah in May, this year, as the 12th headmaster of Mawuli S.H.S.
Induction ceremony
At the induction ceremony, Rt Rev. Dr Agidi called on heads of educational institutions to distinguish themselves with exemplary conduct in the discharge of their duties, noting that they needed to serve as mentors to be emulated by teachers and students.
He underscored the need for people serving in responsible positions, either in public service or civil society, not to fall prey to fraudulent acts or engage in extravagant expenses, but to make judicious use of resources at their disposal.
Rt Rev. Dr Agidi urged the newly appointed headmaster to work assiduously to restore Mawuli S.H.S to its glory as a highly disciplined and reputable institution.
In an address read on his behalf, the Volta Regional Director of Education, Mawusi Boadi, urged stakeholders in education to rally their support in ensuring that schools were provided with adequate facilities they required for growth and attaining desirable results.
