The party also elected national executives at the conference, who included Henry Herbert Lartey, Chairman, Theodore Buatsi as First Vice-Chairperson, Cynthia Atta as Second Vice-Chairperson, Ato Dadzie as General Secretary, and George Amoah as National Organiser.
The rest were Nora Gyempeh as National Women Organiser, Jude Balma as National Youth Organiser, Kaiser Ablorh as National Treasurer, and Alhassan Issahaku as National Education Secretary.
Agriculture
In his acceptance speech, Daniel Lartey Jr, a financial consultant, pledged to lead with integrity, vision and unwavering commitment to the prosperity of the country.
He said the party would prosecute the 2024 elections on the fundamental pillars of agriculture and technology, adding that those two pillars were not just the foundation of the party’s campaign, but the keys to unlocking the full potential of the country.
Referring to agriculture as the backbone of Ghana's economy, Dr Lartey Jr said it was time to fully harness its potential to transform the lives of farmers and all Ghanaians with the re-introduction of what he described as the “domestication” agenda.
The agenda, he said, was where every household grew, ate and sold food produced from their available pieces of land in their homes or neighbourhoods.

“Under my leadership, the GCPP will prioritise comprehensive agricultural reforms that will empower our green youth, farmers, and industries with the tools, resources and knowledge they need to succeed in making Ghana the global home of food.
“We will invest in modern agricultural techniques, irrigation systems and access to credit facilities, ensuring that all actors in the agricultural chain can produce more, waste less, and earn a fair income for their hard work,” Daniel Lartey Jr said.
“Our goal is to make Ghana self-sufficient in food production and a leading exporter of agricultural products across Africa and the world.
This will undoubtedly be the cornerstone and catalyst to graduate and youth unemployment,” he said.

Technology
On technology, he said, the party envisioned a Ghana where technology was seamlessly integrated into every aspect of society, driving development and improving the quality of life of all Ghanaians.
In line with that, he said, the party would invest in robust technological infrastructure that connected even the most remote parts of the country to the global digital economy.
“Our policies will support the growth of tech startups, promote digital literacy, and create opportunities for our youth to thrive in the knowledge economy.
