Kotoko host Medeama Sunday

Kumasi Asante Kotoko host Tarkwa-based Medeama at the Baba Yara Stadium on Sunday in a friendly encounter at the Baba Yara Stadium in Kumasi.

The match is part of preparations by the two sides towards the 2016 Premier League season.

Sunday’s game provides the Porcupine Warriors the opportunity to avenge the 1-2 defeat they suffered at the hands of Medeama.

Although a friendly game, the reputation of the two clubs will be at stake. For Kotoko whose fine form has been the talking point this off-season, anything short of victory could raise some questions. 

Coach David Duncan’s collection of the best players in the last few months and the performance his team have exhibited have both been hailed.

The outcome will provide the Kotoko coach the opportunity to identify his best squad for the upcoming season.
