MTN FA Cup Round of 64 : Chelsea dare New Edubiase

The MTN FA Cup Committee (FACC) has announced that all 32 ties in the Round of 64 of the competition would be free to all women and children under the age of 12.

The move forms part of the FACC's efforts to improve attendance rates in the exciting knock-out competition.

This round of the competition will be played from  March 16 to 19, 2015 with all games attracting a gate fee of GH¢ 3.00 for popular stand and GH¢5.00 for VIP stand for male spectators.

The match between Emmanuel FC and WAFA scheduled for the Tema Stadium on March 16 will start the Round of 64 games which also involves Real Athletico and Birim DC United clashing at the Tema Stadium on March 17.

On March 18, Guan United host Tano Bofoakwa at the Tamale Stadium, Berekum Chelsea play New Edubiase United at the Berekum Golden City Park, Starke FC engage Prof. Quarm FC at the Dunkwa Park, Bechem United lock horns with FC Utrecht at the Bechem Park, 77 Stars face Glory Stars at the Wa Stadium, Accra Hearts of Oak contend with Elmina Sharks at the Accra Sports Stadium, Unity FC take on Tamale FC at the Goaso Park while Gold Stars play King Faisal at the Bibiani Park.   

Elsewhere on March 18, Ahafoman play BA United at the Hwidiem Park, Ashgold lock horns with Cornerstone at the Len Clay Stadium, Paga Crocodile engage defending champions Kumasi Asante Kotoko at the Bolga Park, Mposuaman United face Real Tamale United at the Japekrom Park, Aduana Stars battle Wa All Stars at the Dormaa Park, Kintampo Marcus contend wih Bolga Man City at the Kintampo Park, Samartex clash with Dunkwa United at the Samreboi Park, Tudu Mighty Jets engage Hasaacas at the Mars Park in Teshie, Inter Allies take on King Solomon at the Tema Stadium, Great Astronomers face Tema Youth at the Robert Mensah Stadium, Kade United lock horns with Medeama SC at the Kade Roman Catholic Park, Proud United play Sporting Mirren at the Kasoa Unistar Park and Dumas battle Prestige FC at the Gyandu Park. 

The concluding fixtures on March 19 will see Kenyasi FC play Deportivo at the Hwidiem Park, Susubiribi engages Heart of Lions at the Koforidua Stadium, Afienya City battles Fijai Real United at the Prampram Park, Amidaus Professionals lock horns with Hot Steel at the Tema Stadium, Charity Stars battles Liberty Professionals at the Darkuman Charity Park, Istanbul FC clashes with Vimabe FC at Akyem Techiman, Wa African United battle Kantinkyeren at the WA Stadium, Eleven Wise versus Okwawu United at the Essipon Park and Accra Great Olympics come up against Ebusua Dwarfs at the Accra Sports Stadium. 

All games which end in a stalemate will be decided by the penalty shoot-out straight after the final whistle of the game.
