APSONIC rides into African football as Official Sponsor of 2023 AFCON
The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has announced APSONIC as an official sponsor of the upcoming Africa Cup of Nations tournament, which include Ghana's Black Stars and 23 other national sides, in Cote d'Ivoire next month.
CAF said in a statement that APSONIC became the official motorcycle brand of the continent's flagship tournament from January 13 to February 11, 2024. It is a partnership that extends the tournament's appeal to corporate partners, as an estimated one billion people from over 90 countries across the world, are expected to watch the tournament.

APSONIC joins other partners such as TotalEnergies (title sponsor), PUMA, 1Xbet, VISA, TECNO, Ecobank and Razzl.
At the signing ceremony in Cote d'Ivoire to seal the deal, CAF General Secretary, Véron Mosengo Omba, expressed delight about the partnership as it reflected the widespread appeal of the tournament and increasing investment in the African game, bringing together major brands deeply ingrained in the daily lives of Africans.
Zhang Lian, President of Sincerity Group, who signed the deal on behalf of APSONIC, said the brand's support for African football was to help unite nations and inspire Africa’s youth, as next year's AFCON provided an exceptional platform to celebrate sporting excellence and encourage young people to pursue their dreams.
"Football transcends its status as a simple sport to become a source of identity and community pride, while the motorcycle, with its powerful roar, symbolises personal mobility and adventure.
