Kotoko, Hearts face Div 2 opponents ; In MTN FA Cup

Birim DC United will be hoping to upset the MTN FA Cup holders, Kumasi Asante Kotoko, after they were paired together in the MTN FA Cup Round of 32 draw which was held last Monday in Accra.

Birim DC United accounted for Real Athletico 1-2 on their way to booking a date with the reigning champions and will be hoping to avoid the fate of Paga Crocodile Stars who were trounced 0-4 by the Porcupine Warriors in the last round. 

The most successful team in the history of the FA Cup, Accra Hearts of Oak, also face second-tier side Bolga Man City, while Premier League leaders Ashgold will play host to Wa African United. 

Medeama will lock-horns with Bibiani GoldStars in a Western regional derby, BA United will travel to Division two side Kenyasi FC in a Brong Ahafo regional derby, Afienya City engage Accra Great Olympics and Susubiribi play Aduana Stars.

In other intriguing pairings, Eleven Wise play Unity FC, 77 Stars engage Istanbul FC, Great Astronomers lock horns with New Edubiase United, Tamale Utrecht battle Starke FC, Prestige FC versus West Africa Football Academy and Tano Bofoakwa contend with Mighty Jets.   

In the closing round of the matches for the round of 32 scheduled to be played on April 4 and 5, Liberty Professionals  play Samartex, Amidaus Professionals host Real Tamale United and Proud United contend with Inter Allies.
