After weeks of training, tasks, and live shows, 24-year-old Akosua Arhin was crowned Miss Malaika Ghana 2025 at the grand finale held on Saturday, November 22, at the Palms Convention Centre in Accra.
Her win brought excitement and joy to the entire auditorium.
The night began with a bright and colourful opening performance from the Top 10 finalists. Their dance moves were clean and well-timed.
Their costumes shined under the lights. Their energy filled the whole hall and prepared the audience for a beautiful night.
The ladies showed not only their beauty, but also their confidence, intelligence, and creativity. One of the most loved parts of the show was the evening gown segment.
The finalists walked the runway with elegance and calmness. Their dresses were stunning, and each contestant carried herself with pride.
The Question and Answer session was very important. It tested how well the contestants could think, speak, and explain ideas.
Akosua impressed everyone with her clear and thoughtful answers. She spoke with confidence and showed that she understands the issues affecting young Ghanaian women today. This moment made her stand out strongly.
The night also featured live musical performances like; Cina Soul, Kojo Blak, and Kaesae entertained the audience with beautiful songs. Their performances added joy, excitement, and a special touch to the event.
It was very tensed the few minutes the judges went to decide the winner. The hall went dead silent.
Everyone waited anxiously. However, that was replaced with thunderous cheers and chants when few minutes later, Akosua Arhin was announced the winner.
She walked forward with tears of joy and a big smile. She was crowned and given her sash. She also received a brand-new car and a cash prize as part of her reward.
Her crowning marks the beginning of a new chapter in her life. As the 23rd Miss Malaika queen, Akosua will now represent the brand, lead projects, support good causes, and inspire young women across Ghana. Her journey is just beginning, and many people are excited to see what she will achieve.
The night ended with celebration, hugs, photos, and cheers. Past queens, family members, friends, and supporters all came together to welcome the new queen.
