Bethel SDA Church, Osu embarks on clean-up exercise

The Bethel Assembly of the Seventh Day Adventist Church (SDA) at Osu has embarked on an eye screening  exercise for residents in the area and its environs. They also undertook a clean-up exercise.

The exercise was also meant to sensitise the people to how to live healthy lives.

Beneficiaries

Beneficiaries with various eye complications were screened free of charge, while those who could not be treated were referred to the nearest health centres. 

Others were also taken through breast examination and dental care.

They were also taken through topics such as diet management, healthy relationships and depression.

Advice

Both resource persons, Dr W.K. Brown and Dr Wiafe Boateng advised the people to desist from self-medication and rather report any health complications  to the nearest hospital for professional care.
