Bawumia storms Mahama's hometown for campaign engagements
After a four-day break from his tour of the northern regions, the New Patriotic Party (NPP) flagbearer, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, resumes his campaign today, continuing from where he left off.
Dr. Bawumia had returned to Accra for official duties during his break and now plans to cover the remaining constituencies in the north.

Having launched his northern campaign immediately after unveiling his running mate, Dr. Mathew Opoku Prempeh, earlier this month, Dr. Bawumia has already toured about half of the constituencies.
His engagements have drawn large crowds and garnered support and blessings from traditional rulers across the region.
Today, Dr. Bawumia is set to return to the campaign trail in the Savannah Region, where he will visit Bole, the hometown of his main contender, former President John Mahama.
