At a ceremony after his unveiling, Rev. Dr Mensah appealed to all other independent presidential aspirants and the other smaller parties to join forces with the APC to wrest power from the ruling government and break the duopoly of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) and the National Democratic Congress (NDC).

Among some of the proposals that the anti-corruption campaigner is bringing to the "table" is to strengthen all anti-corruption agencies and set up a task force that would coordinate all the activities of such institutions.

He said Ghana would not have gone to the International Monetary Fund (IMF) for support if all the loopholes within the economy were blocked.

He said the APC would revolutionise the agricultural sector, promote agri-business and review the current tax regime and reduce inflation to its barest minimum to boost businesses.

He said the APC would scrap all nuisance taxes and stabilise the depreciated Ghanaian cedi.

Rev. Dr Mensah bemoaned the current apparent mismanagement, retrogression, negative governmental decisions and extravagant borrowing.

Ayariga

For his part, Mr Ayariga whose birthday coincided with the unveiling ceremony, said the new third force would win the elections "one touch."

He said the future of Ghana was the youth; unfortunately, they resorted to gambling because the was no vision for them.

He said due to the difficult economic condition, a lot of Ghanaian youth were leaving the shores in search of Greener pastures.

"All the embassies are full to the extent that appointment for visa application takes one year," Mr Ayariga said.
