NPP to embark on 'Dumsor' demo, Feb 18

The New Patriotic Party (NPP) has set February 18, 2015 to demonstrate against the erratic power supply facing the country.

The demonstration, according to the party, is also aimed at expressing their displeasure over the worsening economic situation in the country.
The NPP announced this at a press conference in Accra Tuesday.
Ghana has been battling with power crisis for some time now; a situation which has compelled government to order emergency power badges in the country.
President John Dramani Mahama has, however, assured he will do everything within his capacity to salvage the power situation which has bedevilled the nation.
