2025 Tema Draught Open set for August 2&3

The 2025 Tema Draught Open has been slated for August 2-3, with a GHc5,000 prize package at stake for the ultimate winner.

The competition is expected to attract some of the best players in the game, including former Tema Open champion, Evans Koranteng, popularly known as Ortega.

Beyond the likes of Paa Kyei, Ekow Simple, Obed, Kwame Nkrumah, Dennis, Richard and Eyehu, the competition will offer patrons the opportunity to witness the wits of Kikiway, Abu National, Nii Aryee, Adei, Arday and other prominent players of the game.

The competition will be held at the premises of the Premier Tennis Club at Community 12 in Tema, with each day's activities starting at 9 a.m.

The first runner-up will receive GHc3,000, while the second runner-up and third runner-up will take home GHc2,000 and GHc1,000 respectively. 
It is being sponsored by businessmen Nana and Opolee.
