Didi Dramani takes over Black Galaxies, names 94 players for screening
Ex-Ghana international, Mas-Ud Didi Dramani has been appointed as head coach of the Black Galaxies by the Ghana Football Association (GFA).
He took over from coach Annor Walker, who abandoned the job after the team’s poor showing at the 2023 African Nations Championship (CHAN) tournament in Algeria. Coach Walker was assisted by Prosper Narteh Ogum and Bismark Kobby-Mensah as deputy coaches.

Didi Dramani, who served as second assistant coach of the Black Stars also had stints with Kumasi Asante Kotoko, Right to Dream Academy and Danish side FC Nordsjaelland.
Meanwhile, the experienced coach has invited a total of 94 players for screening and training at the Ghanaman Soccer Centre of Excellence.
The screening process is divided into four batches where the first 24 players are expected to report on Monday, July 17,2023.
The other three batches will report on Wednesday, July 19, Sunday, July 23 and Wednesday, July 26, 2023 respectively.
For Group one, the players include goalkeepers Frederick Asare (Asante Kotoko), Felix Kyei (Medeame SC) and Joseph Addo (Aduana Stars).
The defenders are Kwadwo Asamoah (Medeama), Augustine Agyapong (Asante Kotoko), Hamid Abdul0Fatawu (Medeama), Emmanuel Adu siaw (FC Samartex), Konadu Yiadom (Hearts of Oak), Nurudeen Mohammed Yussif (RTU), David Prah Danny (Uncle T united), and Abdulai Nurudeen (Medeama).

The midfielders are Kwame Adom Frimpong (Aduana SC), Prince Kwame Dogbe (Kotoku Royals), Emmanuel Adjei (Dreams FC), Abdul Karim (Bechem United), Mohammed Sadat (RTU) and Mitchel Otuo ( Legon Cities FC).
While the attackers are Sampson Eduku (Tamale City), Gabriel Bonnah (Samartex SC), Richmond Lamptey (Asante Kotoko), Prince Owusu Kwabena (Gold Stars), Hafiz Konkoni (Bechem United), Abednego Tetteh (Gold Stars) and Issah Kuka (RTU).
The screening exercise, according to the GFA, will later move to phase two in August where selected players will camp for two weeks while dates for the third phase to be announced in due course.
