Abodoulaye Soulama — Hearts

Hearts host Aduana Stars

Accra Hearts of Oak will be hoping an unlikely victory against in-form Aduana Stars tomorrow at the Accra Sports Stadium will see them escape the relegation zone of the First Capital Plus Premier League.

The Phobians dropped into the relegation zone last Sunday  following their fourth defeat of the campaign when they played against Kpando Heart of Lions and another loss against second-placed Aduana could further increase the pressure on their coach, Herbert Addo.

Hearts leading marksman, Gilbert Fiamenyo, will be hoping to rediscover his scoring touch but the Phobian defence will have to be wary of Aduana’s duo of Godfred Saka and forward Richard Arhin, who has already scored three goals this season.

In other intriguing clashes, Berekum Chelsea will host tottering league champions Kumasi Asante Kotoko at the Golden City Park, league leaders AshantiGold will welcome Lions to the Len Clay Stadium at Obuasi, Medeama SC will lock horns with Liberty Professionals at the Tarkwa T&A park.

Other ties of match-week nine will see Bechem United play Accra Great Olympics at the Bechem Park, West Africa Football Academy engage New Edubiase United at Sogakope, Wa All Stars host Sekondi Hasaacas at the Wa Park and Inter Allies welcome bottom club Brong Ahafo United to the Tema Park.
