Before the interesting game, the Indians were credited with a half goal due to their handicap but that did not affect the Ghanaian side which went into attack right from the first chukker.

Dan Guy scored Ghana’s opening goal after a full gallop before Jamil Ibrahim made it two in the second chukker. India’s Singh Tanwar, however, scored for his side to make it 2 to 11/2.

In the third chukker, Jamil Ibrahim added a third goal for the homesters before Damian Duncan made it four from a close range strike. However, the Indians rallied to score another goal through Raghav Rao.

A spectacular full gallop from Damian Duncan at the stroke of full time in the fourth chukker which saw him put the ball into goal sealed the doom of the Indians.

Dr Ahmed, Ms Nkrumah and the Indian High Commissioner presented the winners’ trophy to Jamil Ibrahim, while the Indians also received some awards for their effort.
