Rahman pledges hardwork for Stars
Black Stars stalwart defender Baba Rahman says he will put in extra efforts in his desire to establishing himself as one of the pillars in the defence of the Black Stars.
According to Rahman, the leakages in the team contributed immensely to their early departure from the Brazil 2014 World Cup, saying that deficiency is gradually being plugged,

This, he said contributed to the Star sterling performance at the just- ended 2015 AFCON in Equatorial Guinea.
Attributing the situation to hard work , harmony and competitive spirit among the players he told Graphic Sports, in Accra last week that for him to continue playing a key role in future tournaments, it was important for him to play above himself for club and country.
Featuring for the Stars in his maiden AFCON, Rahman was not overwhelmed by the stage but rather performed creditably from the group stages to the grand finale, particularly the encounter against the Elephants of Cote d’ Ivoire.
He has since become the toast of many soccer fans as one of the revelations of the tournament.
“I will continue to train harder than before to ensure that I maintain my form and maintain my position in the Black Stars squad in future assignments,” he assured.
Expressing his disappointment for not winning the 2015 AFCON, Rahman said they did their best, but it was luck that eluded them and denied them the trophy at stake.
