Ghanaian dancehall artiste Stonebwoy is celebrating a historic milestone after headlining a sold-out concert at the OVO Arena Wembley in London, describing the night as a moment of triumph, gratitude and destiny.
The artiste made history on Saturday, August 15, becoming the first Ghanaian artiste to headline a show at the 12,500-capacity venue with his BHIM Festival concert.
Following the performance, Stonebwoy took to social media to thank God and his supporters for helping make the night a success.
“As it is in the beginning, so shall it be in the end. Light conquereth over darkness every time. And who God bless, no one can curse. Destiny shall forever be fulfilled,” he wrote.
“History was made! LONDON, GHANA, BHIM NATION. Thank you. I love y’all. I can’t wait to be back!”
The concert featured a star-studded line-up, with Nigerian heavyweights Tiwa Savage and Mr P of P Square fame joining Ghanaian acts including Samini, Kwabena Kwabena, Ofori Amponsah and DopeNation.
In a video cited by Graphic Showbiz and earlier shared by Vida Adutwumwaa, Stonebwoy’s Public Relations Officer at Burniton Music Group, the artiste expressed his excitement over the successful event.
“I’m grateful to God for a successful BHIM Festival. I also want to say a big thank you to each and everybody who attended and everybody who showed me love and support. I truly appreciate it. I’m so happy and thrilled that everything turned out successfully,” he said.
Stonebwoy’s message combined his religious conviction with appreciation for his fans, whom he credited for standing by him and helping turn the London concert into a historic chapter in his career.
