National Service Authority opens final window for students with biodata mismatch issues to correct them

The National Service Authority (NSA) has given prospective National Service Personnel affected by biodata mismatch issues a final opportunity to correct their records and complete their registration ahead of the August 26, 2026 deadline.

In a press release dated August 24, the NSA urged all affected students who have been unable to resolve their biodata discrepancies to report to its headquarters for assistance and final resolution.

The Authority said it is collaborating with the National Identification Authority  (NIA), Ghana Publishing Company and Commissioners for Oaths to facilitate the correction process within the stipulated period.

Students who are yet to obtain the required affidavit will be assisted to prepare and swear the document to support the correction of their biodata. Those who require Gazette publication will also be guided through the process by the Ghana Publishing Company.

The NSA further directed students who have already obtained their affidavits and/ or Gazette publications to report to its headquarters with the original documents and other relevant supporting documents to enable the necessary changes to be effected.

According to the Authority, once the corrections have been made and students’ records duly aligned, they will be able to proceed with the National Service registration process.

The NSA has therefore urged all affected students, including those who have completed the affidavit and Gazette processes but are yet to have their records corrected, to report before the August 26 deadline.

Students are encouraged to come along with their original Ghana Cards and, where applicable, their affidavits and Gazette documents to facilitate the process.

The Authority stressed that the initiative is intended to provide a final opportunity for affected students to regularise their records and complete their National Service registration before the deadline.
