Tuutingli gets borehole

Residents of Tuutingli, a farming community in the Tamale Metropolis, have benefited from a GH¢12,000 borehole. This is to help address the intermittent shortage of potable water in the community. The people were also presented with 50 treated mosquito nets for the prevention of malaria.

The borehole was constructed through the collaborative efforts of the Koinonia Baptist Church in Tamale and Dr Mitch Randall, a Senior Pastor of North Haven Church in Norman, Oklahoma in the United States of America (USA). Funds were provided by a US-based lawyer, Mr Travis Brown.

Appeal

That was in response to the needs assessment carried out by the church in the community and its surroundings to find out  how the church could support deprived communities to ensure that the people led healthy lifestyles..
