Boakye Yiadom out of danger after collapsing in Serie B game
Ghanaian striker Richmond Boakye Yiadom is out of danger after he suffered a concussion and collapsed in a Serie B clash on Saturday.
Boakye Yiadom was in action for his club US Latina Calcio in a game which they eventually lost 2-1 when he suffered trauma to his head.
The Ghanaian international was carried off the pitch in an ambulance after a clash of heads with an opponent.
According to reports the 23-year-old was unconscious after the clash in the 17th minute and was swiftly rushed to hospital.
Boakye Yiadom's agent, Oliver Arthur of Arthur Legacy Sports assured fans on micro blog Twitter that the young forward was recuperating in hospital.
AS Cittadella won the game by 2-1 courtesy goals from Ilori in the 4th minute and Corvia in the 45th of the first half while Kouame got the consolation for US Latina at the Stadio Pier Cesare Tombolato.
