More support Millennium Marathon

Various corporate bodies have thrown their support for this year’s Millennium Half Marathon dubbed, “Africa on the Runfor Health and Peace”.

Among the major corporate bodies supporting this year’s marathon are The National Investment Bank,, Graphic Communications Group Limited, Queiroz Galvao,  Ethiopian Airlines, Peugeot from WATS Ltd, KRIF Ghana, Papaye Fast Food, H20 Water, Africa World Airlines (AWA), Melcom Ghana,  Puma, Interplast and Aryton Drugs.

This year’s race will be geared towards giving attention to a continental drive to support the United Nations’ “Sustainable Development Goals” of Good health and well-being in addition to other social issues such as peace and Health.

The event would be staged  on September 3, 2016 with four regional races already held in the Northern Region, Upper West Region Brong Ahafo and Western region.

Registration for the Millennium Marathon’ is open with special prizes being offered to Ghanaian male and female winners in the 21-km race.

The Millennium Marathon will attract elite runners  from Mexico, Ethiopia, Nigeria, Colombia, Kenya, the U.K., among others.
