According to the legend, who for years reigned in world long distance and the marathon, says sports is not only economically beneficial but its positive effect on one’s health are enormous.

Gebrselassie made the call yesterday when he visited the Graphic Communications Group Limited (GCGL) as part of the road map to promote the Millennium Marathon.

Since that epic match in Kigali, the two nations’ path has not crossed, but tomorrow’s AFCON 2017 qualifier at the Amahoro Stadium offers the Ghanaians a fine chance to avenge the July 6, 2003 loss which caused the Stars to muss Tunisia ’94 -- the only dent in Ghana’s Nations Cup history since 1992.
