The Ghana Air Traffic Safety Electronics Association (GHATSEA) has announced plans to embark on an indefinite industrial action starting Thursday, October 30, 2025, over what it describes as years of neglect, unfair treatment, and mismanagement by the Ghana Civil Aviation Authority (GCAA).
In a press statement issued Tuesday by the president of the association, David Annan Mensah said the members, who are responsible for maintaining the communication, navigation, and surveillance systems that ensure flight safety, have endured over 15 years of unresolved grievances relating to salary disparities, poor job placements, and welfare issues.
